From 11 to 12 April in Alcanena, Portugal, the Expopele event was held. It was organized primarily by APIC and saw the participation of ICEC in a seminar about certification, where ICEC and LWG were presented with their services and answered the questions of the public about the qualification of the supply chain. The district of Alcanena also relies on the CTIC center for laboratory tests, consultancy, training and research and development. ICEC is establishing a collaboration with this technical center, for the provision of certification services, in particular those related to the traceability of leather and the made in, to all the companies of this cluster.
Undoubtedly, the interest of ICEC is to extend its activities and consolidate them also in districts outside of Italy, guarantors such as ICEC of sustainability and enhancement of the leather.
