Providing accredited certifications means guaranteeing competence, impartiality, confidentiality, absence of conflicts of interest in the evaluation and decision-making processes.
ICEC is accredited by Accredia for quality, environment, health and safety management systems, for “made in” products and for leather products.
Being accredited means operating with precise rules and being checked on their compliance.
The CSI (Committee for Safeguarding Impartiality) meets annually, consisting of a group of experts in the leather supply chain representing producers, users, scientific bodies, to evaluate all ICEC work with the aim of ensuring that all activities have been carried out in the safeguarding the impartiality of the organization with respect to certified companies.
The CSI met on 21.10.2020 and evaluated all ICEC activities. In November ICEC will receive Accredia inspections for the maintenance of the aforementioned accreditations.
ICEC's work is carried out transparently and is constantly monitored by these Committees / Bodies, to guarantee the credibility of the certifications issued.
